バードマン あるいは(無知がもたらす予期せぬ奇跡）スクリプト編
今日のリスニング英会話のスクリプトは、Youtubeの映画のトレーラTrailerからアカデミー賞４冠の「バードマンあるいは(無知がもたらす予期せぬ奇跡）」。約3分弱である。
ヒーロー映画の元主演俳優訳に「バットマン」シリーズなどのマイケル・キートンが扮し、エドワード・ノートンやエマ・ストーン、ナオミ・ワッツなどが共演している。
ストーリーは、かつてスーパーヒーロー映画「バードマン」で世界的な人気を博しながらも、現在は失意の底にいる俳優リーガン・トムソンは、復活をかけたブロードウェイの舞台に挑むことに。レイモンド・カーバーの「愛について語るときに我々の語ること」を自ら脚色し、演出も主演も兼ねて一世一代の大舞台にのぞもうとした矢先、出演俳優が大怪我をして降板。
代役に実力派俳優マイク・シャイナーを迎えるが、マイクの才能に脅かされたリーガンは、次第に精神的に追い詰められていくといったストーリー。
さて、リスニング英会話としては、やや長めのセリフもあるのえ、しっかり聞ける英語になっている。
とは言え、一度聞いただけでは、やはり、スルっと耳には入ってこなかった。
ワンシーンごとの会話のテンポが速いので、何度もリスニングが必要なことは言うまでもない。やや舞台用語というか、専門用語もちらほらあるように感じた。
あきらめずに
何度も何度もリスニンすること！

「なんとなく英語リスニングできてる？ってなるまで最低10日間は毎日見続ける。」こと。
